Part 1: Android Tablet set-up:
- Select your country or region
- Agree to legal items
- Add to the school’s WiFi network
- Do not copy apps & data
- Sign in to your Google Account (if you don’t have one, you’ll need to create one)
- Agree to Google’s Terms of Service
- For Google Services - deselect all options and tap continue
- For Search Provider, select Google
- For Google Assist, select No Thanks
*Steps may be in a different order depending on the brand of your device.
Part 2: Once your homepage loads up
Check in Settings>About tablet that the tablet is updated to at least version 6 of Android; if below version 6, update tablet.
Open the Google Play Store app. Using the search bar on the top, search for now>press>play:
Click Install:
Once the now>press>play app is downloaded, go to all apps:
Open up the now>press>play app, log in, and press play!
