Step 1: Kick-off Call
Your onboarding journey begins with a kick-off call with one of our team.

During this meeting, we'll:

  • Learn about your school's goals and priorities.
  • Discuss how you plan to use now>press>play.
  • Explore curriculum mapping opportunities.
  • Help you choose the training option that's right for your staff.
  • Answer any questions before implementation begins.

We aim to ensure your school has a clear plan before training starts.

Step 2: Curriculum Mapping
One of the first things we'll do is map our Experiences against your curriculum.

This helps teachers quickly identify:

  • which Experiences support specific curriculum objectives
  • when they can be delivered throughout the school year
  • where they best fit within existing schemes of work

By aligning our content with your curriculum, teachers spend less time planning and more time delivering engaging learning experiences.

Step 3: Choose Your Training

Every school is different, so we offer several training options.

Full Staff Training (Recommended)
Best for: Most schools.

Our trainer delivers a live session via Google Meet for your entire staff, ensuring everyone receives the same information, understands how to use the platform confidently and has the opportunity to ask questions.

Benefits

  • Everyone receives consistent training.
  • Staff can ask questions in real time.
  • Quicker whole-school implementation.
  • Greater confidence across the team.
⭐  This is our recommended option for most schools.

Champion Training
Best for: Schools that may not be able to get everyone together at once. Digital Leads, NPP Advocates, Computing Leads or Phase Leaders all make amazing champions!

We train a small group of nominated champions who then support and train colleagues within the school.

Benefits

  • Ideal for schools with established internal leaders.
  • Creates in-house expertise.
  • Champions can continue supporting new staff throughout the year.

Self-Service Training
Best for: Schools that require maximum flexibility.

We'll provide access to our training materials so staff can complete training at a time that suits them.

Benefits

  • Flexible learning.
  • Staff can revisit resources whenever needed.
  • Ideal for busy timetables or staggered staff induction.

Step 4: Follow-up Check-in
Around two weeks after your training, we'll check in to see how everything is going.

If needed, you can arrange a follow-up meeting to:

  • ask questions
  • discuss best practice
  • resolve any issues
  • receive guidance on new features
  • ensure your implementation is progressing smoothly

Your onboarding is considered complete once your agreed training has been delivered.

Step 5: Ongoing Account Support
Once onboarding has finished, your school will be introduced to our Accounts Team.

They'll continue supporting you throughout your subscription with regular check-ins and advice whenever required.

Whether you need guidance, have questions about new features or want to explore additional ways of using the platform, we're here to help.

Refresher Training
Schools change over time, and we're here to support that.

We offer refresher training for:

  • schools welcoming new members of staff
  • changes in leadership or key contacts
  • schools renewing their subscription
