What Is the Sparks Programme?

The now>press>play community wouldn’t be complete without the amazing pupils who help our immersive adventures really take off. That’s why we’re excited to introduce now>press>play Sparks, a pupil leadership programme designed to empower the next generation of digital leaders.

Who can be a Spark?

Sparks are pupils selected by their teachers to:

  • Champion our approach to learning

  • Enthuse other pupils and staff

  • Keep the equipment ready to go

Becoming a Spark helps pupils develop confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility.

What do Sparks do?

Sparks support learning by:

  • Checking and maintaining headsets and charging the transmitter

  • Helping teachers set up and pack down the equipment

  • Providing technical support to teachers

  • Assisting with teacher training

  • Knowing where equipment is stored

  • Sharing their edtech expertise with pupils and staff

Getting Started

Your School Manager will set up a meeting and provide a training video to get your Spark recruitment ready.

Once trained, each Spark receives a badge to show they are ready to help with now>press>play.

If you would like to get your school involved in the Sparks programme, please get in touch with your school success manager or our support team, and we'll send over all the info and some Sparks badges to your school!
