Setting Up the Transmitter and Headphones

To ensure the best experience, please refer to the detailed setup guides for your specific headphone type:

Here’s a summary of the key steps for both types:

• Connect the transmitter:
  Attach the aerial and plug in the charger. The transmitter will begin charging.

• Using the transmitter unplugged:

  • Battery-powered headphones: You can use the transmitter unplugged once it’s fully charged.
  • Rechargeable headphones: Keep the transmitter plugged in and charging during use to ensure consistent power.

• Power on the transmitter:
  Switch it on, set to High, and leave it on Channel One.

• Connect the audio cable:
  Plug one end into your device and the other into the transmitter.

• Turn on the headphones:
  Hold the power button until the red light appears. If it turns green, it will auto-tune to the transmitter.

• Set volume:
  Turn the headphone volume all the way up for optimal sound.

Battery and charging details:

• Battery-powered headphones:
  AAA batteries last approximately 20 hours. You can order replacements directly through the app.
• Rechargeable headphones:
  Battery life is roughly 12 hours, with a charge time of about 2 hours.

Preparing the Classroom Environment

• For Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, display the North, East, South, and West signs in your classroom or hall. These act as prompts to enrich the immersive experience.
